Jefferson Bright

“Art from the Streets is a place to ease your mind. I’m here to stay.
I appreciate the materials that are given, and to have a place to sell my work.”

Jefferson Bright is a native West African, hailing from Liberia, but grew up predominately in New Jersey. Bright has been coming to our open studio for the last 5 years and attends 3 times a week. He’s always had a sketchbook in hand, so he could take it everywhere with him and draw anything that inspires him. He draws inspiration from Bob Ross, Gary Jenkins, and Catherine Jenkins. Before being his newest work he takes a day to meditate on his mental image before bring his work to life. Bright style favors the use of complementary colors, in particular, he loves the color purple and painting floral pieces.
