Melissa Craig is a local Austinite that studied Electrical Engineering at Baylor University. She has been coming to Art from the Streets for three years and attends our open studio twice a week. When starting her next art project she envisions what she wants to see and then uses different paints to bring it to life. Melissa relies on light and music, mostly rock music, to put herself in the right frame of mind to produce her work. Her favorite memory is a trip to Laredo, Mexico which strengthened her love for Mexican food.
