Our Mission
Art From the Streets uplifts people experiencing homelessness through the creation of art—transforming artistic expression into a source of dignity, community, and economic opportunity.
Create Art. Create Dignity. Create Change.
Art From the Streets is a free and welcoming studio program for individuals who are unhoused, at risk of homelessness, or in transition. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment where every participant can explore their creativity without barriers.
Our goal is not only to provide a creative space, but also to foster community connection, personal expression, and artistic growth. Through regular studio sessions, participants have the opportunity to:
- Experiment with a wide variety of art materials and techniques, all provided free of charge
- Connect with a supportive community of peers and mentors who value creativity and collaboration
- Participate in workshops, exhibitions, and public art opportunities that showcase their work and talent
- Develop skills and confidence that can lead to economic opportunities, including commissioned pieces and collector sales
At Art From the Streets, we believe that art can transform lives—offering dignity, purpose, and a platform for self-expression. Each participant is welcomed not just as an artist, but as a valued member of our creative community.
